Stephanie Beauvil is a Doctoral Clinical Psychology Trainee for We Rise Collective. She holds a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Forensic and Correctional Counseling from William James College and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the same institution, with an emphasis in African and Caribbean Mental Health.
Stephanie adopts an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from varioustheoretical orientations such as ACT, CBT, and positive psychology in order to fill her “therapist toolbox.” She prioritizes creating a strong client-cliniciantherapeutic relationship to facilitate clients' self-awareness and promote theirgrowth and resilience. Stephanie believes it is essential to meet her clients where they are but to highlight and focus on where they plan to go by helping to create a blueprint with client-identified values and goals to better navigate life and transition-related challenges.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys exploring different cuisines, reading fiction, and spending time with her family.
She is fluent in both English and Haitian Creole.
